Leah, Peder and family. Words cannot express the sadness we felt upon hearing of Evan's tragic passing.. As usually is the case as kids grow up and drift apart, we haven't seen you or Evan for a few years but we will remember him as the little boy that he was. in elementary school with
Haleigh. We will remember his cheeky little grin and amazing( sometimes funny haircuts), his ability to make us laugh and

I have a memory to share. Evan would come by school at least once a year after he left the middle school to check in with us. He would often be downtown riding his bike. When ever he spotted me he would come over to visit and tell me what he has been up to and always asked how I was doing! He was a very kind boy with a mischievous grin! You are missed.

With thoughtfulness and sincerity, Evan asked me how I was doing EVERY day I saw him. His kindness and respectfulness was always so appreciated! We shared our biking adventures (dirt-biking for him, motorcycles for me) and when I asked which dog he was telling a story about, he'd respond with "you know, the asshole one". I still chuckle when I think of Evan working on an assignment, blasting music through his headphones, and that sheepish grin when he realized he'd been rapping loud enough for the whole room to hear.

There are no words to express how sorry we are. My heart is broken for you all, and I will treasure the memories we had with him. I will always remember his Carey Hart hair, and him teaching Dal to ride the dirt bike, all the soccer games, and the friendship the 4 of them had. He was a great kid. I am so very sorry.
