Alan Douglas Sinclair, Midimekanainini, Mide Road Man; was born August 3, 1956, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Alan passed away peacefully January 7, 2019 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Alan was predeceased by his parents Ethel and William Sinclair; brothers Samuel Joseph; Wayne Robert; Garnet William; Russel Bryan; sister Corliss Mae.
He leaves to mourn his daughter Candice Elaine Fielberg, Edmonton Ab; sisters Kathleen Courchene, Sagkeeng First Nations; Doreen Sinclair, Winnipeg, Mb. Lorraine Meger, Maple Ridge, BC, sister-in-law Jeanette Sinclair; cousin Alice Stevenson, Selkirk, Alan was close to his nephews Wayne and Myles Courchene of Sagkeeng FN and niece Kathy Courchene Winnipeg. He leaves numerous nieces and nephews in Manitoba, Alberta, BC and the US.
He lived for many years in Quesnel, and Vancouver BC. Alan moved back home and worked in the Landscaping Business and Caretaker; groundskeeper and supervisor for an arena and gym in Winnipeg.
Alan had abilities of being organized; a strong sense of responsibility; hard working ethic and being respectful to all. He also was very fond of animals especially cats.
The family sends their gratitude to Cancer Care, Lennox Bell Lodge, and Riverview Palliative Care Unit for the exceptional care they gave to our brother.

Funeral Services will be held Friday January 11, 2019 at 11, Potluck to follow at Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, Manitoba. Interment of his cremated remains will take place in the St. Peters Old Stone Churchyard Cemetery at a later date.
