Alexandra (Alice) Romaniuk Obituary

May 13, 1919 – March 27, 2019

With sadness, the family announces the passing of Alice on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.

She was predeceased by her parents Stephen and Katazina (nee Millo) Zelisko; all of her siblings and her husband Frank Romaniuk.

She is survived by her son Charles (Debra); grandson Bruce (Melodie); granddaughter Ondine and grandson Matthew (Megan) Romaniuk of Edmonton and great-great-grandchildren Lillianna and Ciyis.

Alice was born and spent her first 50 years in Manitoba Interlake area living and working on a farm with her husband Frank. They then moved to the Red Lake area where she enjoyed many hours fishing, then to Winnipeg for several years. After Frank’s death Alice moved to Arborg. She enjoyed the outdoors and travel.

Thanks to all the staff at Arborg Personal Care Home for their compassion and care.

Interment will take place at the Homer Cemetery at a later date.
