William Archibald Robert MacLeod

Born in Winnipeg, Mb. July 21, 1942

Died in Winnipeg, Mb. April 24, 2018

 

Predeceased by his parents Albert and Almira MacLeod, his wife Judith Mary MacLeod (Sinclair), his sisters Jean, Joan and grandson-in-law Bill.

Archie has left to mourn, his wife Mary MacLeod (Makarchuk); brother Jack, children and grandchildren; sister Betty children and grandchildren; brother Ed (Norlene) children and grandchildren. Archie’s daughters Marlene (Dan) and Wendy (Warren); son Sonny (Nicole); grandchildren Susan (Chris), great grandchildren Nick, Logan, and Kolbe; Sherry, great grandchild Joshua; Daniel (Sheena), great granddaughter Cassidy; Jeff; Brandon (Kaitlyn), great grandchildren Miles and Emily; Lindsay (Cory), great grandchildren William and Damien; Nate, Taylor (John), Bailey, Liam, Connor. Step children and grandchildren; Darlene (Alvin), Ken and Krystyn and grandchildren; Darryl (Ruth), children, Gail (Dave), Kristin, Haley and grandchild; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Archie grew up in the Matlock area, met his first love Judy and moved to Calgary in 1964, he was a painter by trade, Archie and Judy moved back to Manitoba in 1984. He worked at Jenkinson’s as a delivery person. Archie was the proprietor owner of MacLeod’s Painting till he retired.

Archie was lucky to find a second love Mary to whom he married in 2000. They loved traveling and going on Casino trips together with their good friends Jim and Cheryl.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, Manitoba.

He will be deeply missed by all, until we meet again.
