ARLENE JOYCE MCDONALD

August 30, 1939 - May 1, 2019

  On Wednesday, May 1 2019 at Selkirk Regional Health Center Arlene passed away peacefully with her family by her side.

 She leaves to cherish her memory, her children Crystal (Francis), and Rhonda; three grandchildren Rayden, Jaydon and Lindsay; 2 great-grandchildren Kobe and Logan; sisters Myrtle , Thelma , Darlene (Ken); brothers Donald , Jim (Darlene) and Henry (Sharon) plus many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her partner Garnet Simard, brothers Bill, Victor and Stanley, sister Phyllis, nieces Debra, Karen, Corinne and nephews Allen, Todd and Donald.    

 Arlene was a very loving and caring person whose door was always open. She had a zest for life and would live it to the fullest each and every day. She enjoyed watching sports and doing jigsaw puzzles, and would spend as much time with her friends and family as she possibly could.    

  A Celebration of her life will be held at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline St. Selkirk, MB. on Thursday May 9th, 2019 at 1:00 pm.

  In lieu of flowers donations can be made the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
