She was predeceased by her loving husband Allan of 59 years, parents William and Rachael, brothers Dennis (Joyce), Garry, and sister Connie.
Betty and Allan were married for almost 60 years and are survived by their  5 sons, Ken (Laurie), Darrell (Erika), Kevin (Kim), Perry (Linda) and Glenn (Jelena); 12 grandchildren, Shannon (Victor), Ryan (Krista), Robert, Sean (Sandra), Ashley (Colin), Chad (Chelsey), Lindsay (Johnny), Corey (Karissa), Melissa, Edward, Amanda (Devon) and Nicole (Mike); 15 great grandchildren Tory, Lexi, Brady, Jane, Molly, Gray, Calla, Ellie, Alex, Hunter, Jasmine, Annabella, Ava, Christopher and Maxime. Betty is also survived by sister Heather (Phil), sister-in-law Gwen and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was born in Winnipeg, Mb. August 8, 1934 and grew up on the family farm in Meadowdale, Mb. After marrying Allan in 1956 she enjoyed a very full and adventurous life with her husband and 5 boys, countless family gatherings, travel, and numerous life long friends. Betty loved the outdoors and enjoyed having nature around her. Whether she lived in the city or in the country she always devoted the time and energy to producing a beautiful and bountiful garden, for everyone to share.
Betty was loved by many and we are all blessed to have had her in our lives. We will miss her dearly.
Special thanks to the staff at the Brummitt-Feasby A.L.S. House where she was cared for by an exceptional group of people.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk, Mb with Rev. Cole Grambo officiating.
