Betty was born in Winnipeg, Mb. August 8, 1934 and grew up on the family farm in Meadowdale, Mb. After marrying Allan in 1956 she enjoyed a very full and adventurous life with her husband and 5 boys, countless family gatherings, travel, and numerous life long friends. Betty loved the outdoors and enjoyed having nature around her. Whether she lived in the city or in the country she always devoted the time and energy to producing a beautiful and bountiful garden, for everyone to share.
