Carolyn Cecille Letkeman (Barnes)

March 19, 1942 – November 19, 2017

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carolyn Letkeman at 75 years young, on November 19th, at her home in Selkirk, MB.

She was predeceased by her husband Ron (2002), parents John Henry & Elisabeth Barnes, and her sister, Frances Letkeman. She leaves behind her daughter Cindy (Ron) Polinuk, son Curtis Letkeman, her brothers Percy (Leona) Barnes, Glen (Elouise)Barnes, brother-in-law Gary Letkeman, her husband’s siblings, many nieces and nephews, friends and church friends; also, her honorary daughters Destiny Singer, and Karen Zayac as well as her beloved fur baby Rumble.

 She was raised in Herbert, Saskatchewan. As a young adult she moved to Winnipeg and held Service working jobs. She met her husband Ron and celebrated 32 years of marriage together. They had two children together. She worked hard at Canadian Bronze and stayed there for 25 years. In her retirement years she thoroughly enjoyed looking after the children of family and friends; usually at no charge. Carolyn was a very giving person, and always willing to help those in need.   She was a very kind, loving person to everyone.

Memorial service be held on Monday, November 27, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB.
