Chad Gaborieau

Unexpectedly on Sunday, January 7, 2018 Chadley Gaborieau passed away at the age of 47.

Loving husband of Jennifer; devoted father to Alphonse, Hunter, Rylan and Abagail; beloved son to Dianne and the late Alphonse Gaborieau; cherished brother of Regan and the late Ryan Gaborieau; son-in-law to Willy and Barb Wright; brother-in-law to Christen, Mark and the late Jeremy Wright. Chad will also be sadly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished friends.

Chad was known by many for his big heart and vibrant personality. He was born in Selkirk, MB and remained here his entire life. He cared deeply about his community and gave generously to various causes. He has always been a people person and it has shown throughout his career. Chad worked for many years as a bouncer at many bars and concerts. He worked his way up to management. All the people he met over these years made the transition to selling cars an easy one. Chad showed great leadership with everything he did, including his family, coaching hockey or his last venture of buying the Merchants Hotel.

He will be missed by all and his memory will stay with everyone, Stay driving my friends.

A celebration of Chad’s life will be held on Monday, January 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk MB. Honorary Pallbearers will be his sons.
