Emily Marie Wilson

October 20, 1931- May 27, 2018

 Sadly and unexpectedly our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away.    

 Emily was predeceased by her husband Don; son Dale; sister Gladys; brother Ernie and sister in law Margie.

 She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Sharon (Dick); Shelley (Simon); son Barry (Dana); daughter in-law Leona; grandchildren, Kerry, Cory, Jolene, Richie, Lorelle, Devon, Dallas, Kyle, Makenna, Matthew; 7 great grandchildren; niece Angie; nephew Rick and numerous friends.

 Emily was the Matriarch of her family, bringing everyone together as often as she could. She was a talented, kind, generous and loving person who could always be counted on to care for anyone who needed help. Emily loved animals and the outdoors enjoying her vegetable and flower gardens at the cabin. A wizard in the kitchen her recipes will be treasured for generations.

 In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of choice.

 A special thank you to those who cared for her at Red River Place.

 A memorial service will be held at Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
