FRANK SIEGFRIED BISIAK

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, dad and grandpa on July 22, 2018.

Frank will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Wendy. Left to treasure his memories are his three girls and their children Cathy (Gary), Dylan; Lisa (Craig), Ross, Ryan and Alex; Barb (Al), Sydney, Aaron and Addie. He is survived by his sisters, Hilda (Iwo), Maria, Ellie, Rose and his brother Alois; his mother in law Jean Gunter; sisters in law Donna (Herb), Bev and brother in law Wayne. He was predeceased by his parents Frank Sr. and Valerie and his brother Helmut; father in law Jerry Gunter and brother in law Dennis. He leaves to mourn numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Frank was born February 2, 1944 in a small town in Austria. He immigrated to Canada with his parents and 5 siblings in 1957. Frank attended Red River Community College to become an electrician. This is where he met Wendy. They married in 1967 and in 1971 moved to Selkirk where they raised their family. Most of his career was spent working at the Manitoba Rolling Mills for 30 years.

Frank was very proud of and enjoyed spending time with his seven grandchildren. Frank was an animal lover, and forever missed his faithful companion, Rupert. Frank enjoyed camping, fishing and many vacations with family and friends.

Dad you will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.

Wendy and the girls want to thank family members and friends who visited with Frank during his brief stay in the hospital. Frank had a smile for everyone that walked in the door.

Donna, Kristy and Sandy, words cannot express how thankful we are for all the love and support you have given us.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 26 at 3:30 p.m. at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk.
