Peacefully on July 22, 2018 at her residence, Gail was reunited with her late husband John.

Gail was born, grew up, and attended school in Dauphin, Manitoba. She entered nursing school at age 16 years at Selkirk Mental Health Center until graduation. She met John, married, and moved to Thompson, Manitoba where they had 2 children, Cam and Kathy Ftoma. Gail worked at the Thompson General hospital until co-retirement with John from Inco. Gail had many hobbies including curling, curling bonspiels, skating, camping, knitting, crocheting but her passions in life was friends and family. Gail always had a smile for whoever wanted to debate a subject that she considered stimulating the mind. She always had a kind word to say to all she met. She liked to laugh. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family. “You are beside us in everything we do, your love and guidance will see us through. As each day dawns we whisper low, GOD bless you mom and dad, we love and miss you so!
The family would like to thank the staff at the Nova Vista place for their care and support.
