Gertrude Carter (nee Brill, Schwenk)

Sadly, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s, the family of Gertrude Carter wish to announce her passing on February 11, 2019 at the Red River Place. Gertrude was 92 years old at the time of her passing, and had lived in Selkirk since 1955.

She is survived by 3 sons; 1 daughter; grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

As Gertrude requested, there will be no formal service. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Red River Place for their care of Gertrude over the last 8 years.
