GORDON FRANKLIN MARCHAK
JANUARY 14, 1939 - AUGUST 19, 2019

  In the early morning of August 19, 2019, Gordon (Doo Doo) passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital.

  He was predeceased by his wife Kathy, his parents, brother and sisters. He leaves to mourn his two sons Trevor and Kurt (Kristen), his five grandchildren Tanya , Brayden , Jessica, Micheal and Wesley, great-granddaughter Malayah, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

  Gordon grew up in Meleb, Manitoba, where he enjoyed going and spending time with his sons, grandchildren and families on the family homestead until his illness didn’t allow him to anymore.

  Gordon married Kathy in 1961 and soon their family grew to 4. Gordon worked at Jim Gauthier’s Body shop for 25 years then for Air Canada until his retirement in 2004.

  Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli with viewing 1 hour prior.

  Pallbearers will be sons Trevor and Kurt, grandsons Brayden, Micheal  and Wesley and Clarence Poworoznik. Honorary pallbearers are granddaughters Tanya and Jessica and great-granddaughter Malayah.
