Gregory Allan Beck
 
Peacefully Greg died on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre. 
 
He was born in Selkirk, Manitoba on January 25, 1956 to Gerry and Bev Beck. He was predeceased by his father Gerry. Greg is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Becky; sons Tyler and Dillon (Tess); grandchildren Katja and Harvey; mother Bev; sister Jerri (James) and brother Daryl (Sandi).
 
He worked at Manitoba Rolling Mills for 30 years and enjoyed 5 years of retirement in which he went on an African safari which fulfilled a lifelong dream. 
Greg's main love was hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. He took great pride in his garden and was always very generous with his vegetables.  Greg was also actively involved in the Selkirk Sportsman's Dinner. 
 
A celebration of life for Greg will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, Manitoba.
 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Greg's memory to Canadian Liver Foundation Manitoba Chapter, Box 1583, Lac du Bonnet, MB R0E 1A0 or Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
