James (Jim) Richardson McRae

Peacefully at his residence in Selkirk, Mb, Jim McRae, aged 69 years, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018. In keeping with his wishes, a private family viewing was held and cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

Jim will be lovingly remembered by his dear friend Blanche Harper and her family Danny Harper, Clarice Draper including his adopted grandchildren Tyler, Ethan, Connor and Leland and his mother Maxine. Jim leaves behind his hunting buddy Dwight.

He enjoyed puttering around in his garden, fishing and going for walks with the boys. Jim was a kind man who enjoyed spending his time in Balder, MB whom will be missed by the many friends he made there. He was a proud member of the Selkirk Metis Local and he enjoyed participating in the local meetings and events. He enjoyed playing cards at the Army and Navy and the community will miss him. We will all miss him very much…until we meet again.
