My sympathy to Charlie, Joanne and family and Phil and family

I am saddened by Janice's passing She was lovely person and a lasting super friend to my daughter Shannon and to her friend Kim. Thinking back over the years brings up baseball seasons of the past with Charlie coaching, Janice pitching and Shannon catching. That is only one of the memories I will treasure of a beautiful sensitive woman.

Message from Jack Shapira (former music industry colleague)

Very sad to hear of the passing of Janice. She was a force in the Manitoba music industry and promoted it with all her heart. She worked with some great up and coming Manitoba talent and offered great support, resources and friendship to the artist she worked with. She helped to establish the Manitoba Country Music Awards which recognized the amazing talent we have in this province. She also took every opportunity to make sure Manitoba country artists were promoted at events outside of our Province across Canada and in the US. Her accomplishments both with her own career but also with the many events that she put on and her tireless efforts to work with her artists is beyond admirable and she gained the respect of so many industry folks everywhere. She will be for sure sadly missed in the industry and my condolences go out to her family during this time. with sympathy - Jack Shapira
