It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Williamson of Selkirk, MB. at the age of 78 years. He was born on May 22, 1941 in Sinclair, MB.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 59 years, Evonne; three children, Curtis (Irene), Fonda and Vince. Larry was the proud grandfather to Kyle, Jordan, Jared, Beau, Justin and Jenna as well as four great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Kiera, Jackson and Mary.

Dad had the hands of a hardworking man and a gentle heart. He was at peace on the road during the many miles he spent as a truck driver. When not on the road he was in his element with his dog Opee perched on the armrest of his chair watching sports on T.V.

A heartfelt thank you to the compassionate nurses and doctors at CancerCare as well as the staff on the surgical ward at the Selkirk Hospital.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
