Lloyd Kuzminski
It is with great sadness the family of Lloyd Kuzminski announces his unexpected passing on March 4th, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Personal Care Home.
Lloyd grew up on a farm in East Selkirk, MB of which he had many fond memories. He loved sports, especially hockey, which he played in his younger days. He loved his Jets. He enjoyed several years as a pipe insulator until his illness took over. Lloyd battled many years with his health after his cancer diagnosis. During this entire time he faced it with a positive attitude. His last years at St. Joseph’s PHC he made many friendships and enjoyed joking with the staff.
Lloyd is predeceased by his parents John and Elsie, and his brother Jim. He is survived by his wife Denise; sons Peter (granddaughter Sydney); Paul (Debby), grandchildren Matthew, Joshua, Jenna and Ashley; sister Verna Wojik and family; brother John and family; sister-in-law Sharon and family; step-daughter Shannon (Chris) Funk, grandchildren, Raegan and Brandon, and step-son Damion Skrumeda, as well as special friend Larry Ekosky who was a regular visitor.
Special thanks to the doctors who cared for Lloyd throughout his journey - Dr. A. Maksymiuk and Dr. D. Sutherland, Dr. T. Babick, and Cancer Care HSC. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s. Donations may be made on Lloyd’s behalf to Cancer Care HSC.
“May you rest in eternal peace, knowing that you were loved”.
