Martha (Marty) Jean Chuchmuch (nee Bergen)

 With sadness, we announce the passing of Marty, aged 73, on August 8, 2019 at Selkirk Regional Health Centre after a short but courageous battle with Thyroid cancer.

 Marty is predeceased by her parents Peter and Katherina (Tina) Bergen of Morden, MB.

 Marty will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 28 years, Stan; her daughter Kimberley Zacharias and son Ken Zacharias and wife Jacquelyn; her grandchildren Chelsey, Logan, Shantay and Landan; her sister Esther Zacharias and brother Alvin Bergen.

 Marty will be greatly missed by her extended family, Yuma family, special neighbours Peter and Twyla and friends.

 When Marty was not tending her garden and flowers she was cooking and planning dinner parties, helping to organize special events, sewing a project for a friend or herself and pickling.  Marty enjoyed making perogies with her friends and family.  She loved passing along her many crafts and secrets as she taught her artistry.

 For the past 10 years Marty and Stan spent their winters in Yuma, AZ with friends that soon too became family.

 Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place on August 17, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at their home at 223 Limousin Avenue, St. Clements.  Please RSVP to chuch50@gmail.com if you plan to attend.
