Peacefully at her home on October 29, 2018 Norma went to “talk to Jesus”. Norma loved our trips to the family farm in Lundar, including getting into trouble with her cousins. In Selkirk her school friends and cousins were near and dear to her heart. Norma enjoyed many driving excursions with her grandparents. And spent many hours visiting and having coffee with her many friends, relatives and even strangers.

Norma was employed at Home Care, Market Place, and Tim Hortons. She demonstrated exemplary customer service skills and frequently[AP1]  people commented to family members, how pleasant and efficient she was. Her house was always immaculate and she despised clutter. She was minimalistic at heart. Touching many people’s lives with her beautiful smile and her helpful ways. She was always advocating for someone or something.

Norma was a faithful long term member of A.A and exceptionally versed in the concepts. She developed life-long friendships’ through this membership. She fought a long hard battle with her disease. Norma’s strong faith in God helped her through life’s trials and tribulations.

Norma accomplished # 1 on her bucket list; Skydiving in Hawaii. Her comment was “that’s the best experience of my life!”

In Norma’s words; “I’m on my way to talk to Jesus.” “Tell my family I love them all.” “Sisters Love Yous Always” “Please let my friends know I went to Heaven.”
