Patricia Donaghy (nee Ricard) Obituary

Patricia May Donaghy (nee Ricard)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia May Donaghy on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

Pat leaves to mourn her mother Mary, son Jason, daughters Melanie (Ryan) and Kaitlyn, sister Linda, brother Alan (Valerie), sister Tara, her grandchildren, Shay-Lee, Kane, Joshua, Aiden, Carter and Landen along with many nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Pat was born on May 6, 1957 at the Women’s Hospital in Winnipeg. She loved to laugh, have fun and dance the night away. She loved her family deeply and spending time with them meant everything to her. She was always a phone call or text message away when you needed someone to talk to. Pat fought her cancer battle hard and was always brave and strong. She will be missed beyond words.

Her family would like to thank the staff at CancerCare Manitoba and Health Sciences Centre with a special thank you to Maribeth at Seven Oaks Hospital Oncology for her kindness and compassion.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Pat’s name to CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of your choice.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline Street, Selkirk, MB. Guests are encouraged to wear something pink, as it was Pats favorite color.

Condolences, pictures and videos can be left on her tribute wall at www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
