Patricia (Tedi) Ann Wozny

On Sunday April 7th 2019, with her beloved husband by her side, the good Lord wrapped His arms around Tedi and took her home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Walter, her children Cheryl (Merv), Danella (Brian), Grant (Angela) and step-children,  Colin (Amanda) and Stacey, 9 grandchildren, with a special mention to Devin (Krissy), Misty (Mark), Steven (Chenise), 17 great-grandchildren with a special mention to Leam and Ashlyn, 6 sisters and 2 brothers.

She was predeceased by her grandmother (Nana) and grandfather (Baba), mother and father, loving sister Bunny, precisions granddaughter Corrine, great grandson Hunter and dear friend Dale Settee.

Tedi was born in Selkirk MB, she and her sister Bunny were raised on Lilly Ave by her Nana and Baba. Tedi had many wonderful stories about her upbringing. Later in life she worked as a Social worker for 24 years before retiring. She and Walter than begin running Tedi’s Place. She was a staple in the restaurant, building bonds with her employees. Those who work there became part of her family.   Together they ran the restaurant for 11 years until Walter retired. Tedi’s greatest pride was her family. Her memory will live on in all the ones who loved her so dearly.

A special thank you to Diane and Misty her health care workers, Dr. Du Preez for his care and kind words, the Nurses and Heath Care Aides at Selkirk Regional Health Centre.

At her request Honorary Pallbearers are Kelly McCumber, Ken Swain, Steven Burnas, Fred Hall, and Jeffery Hall.

A celebration of Tedi’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, Manitoba.
