Richard (Rick) Larry Wyspinski

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Richard (Rick) Larry Wyspinski on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 due to glioblastoma.
 
Richard was born April 12, 1952, the first son of Joe and Elsie Wyspinski of Selkirk, MB.
 
As a young man he enjoyed hockey and golf, he also enjoyed working on cars, so much so his dad built him an extra garage back to back with the family garage.
 
After high school Rick tried 1 semester of business administration, 1 of auto mechanics, finally settling on safety officer training at a college in Thunder Bay which was how he earned a living.
 
He worked at Manitoba Rolling Mills, Province of Manitoba and others, the final years at Fort McMurray. He was enjoying retirement.
 
He leaves to mourn, son Royce; daughter Rishel; their mother Rhonda Wyspinski; daughter-in-law Crissy; first grandson Mason Joseph Walter Wypsinski; brothers Laurie and Joel; sister Judy Winters and mother Elsie Wyspinski.
 
The family wishes to thank the Selkirk Regional Health Center for the excellent care he received.
 
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB at 11:00 a.m. If friends desire donations to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermott Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0W9 would be appreciated.
