Roger was an avid hunter and fisherman and was always out hunting and fishing on the first day of the season. He was a carpenter, mechanic, electrician and could do anything that was asked of him. If he couldn’t build it, it couldn’t be built, if he couldn’t fix anything, then it couldn’t be fixed. He did everything to perfection. Roger took pride caring for his flowers and lawn and they were the nicest on Stevens Ave. He held various jobs during his life and was great at every one of them.

Roger was the strong, silent type and he emanated his strength to everyone he loved and knew.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or St. Matthews Memorial Fund, c/o Mr. Randy Pastetnik, 5402 Hwy 9 St. Andrews, MB R1A 2Z8.

Cremation has taken place and no funeral will be held. Graveside burial will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Mathews Churchyard Cemetery with Rev. Karen Laldin officiating.
