Aged 69 Years

Sadly our family shares that Trudy has passed on to join her Mom, Dad and older brother Rick. Left to remember her are daughter Tanya (Ken), grand daughters Brandyn (Stu) , Mikaela (Colton), great grandsons Cairo and Markas and sister Ronalda Beckett. And of course friends and extended family.

Mom has been the rock for our family during her battle with cancer. Her spirit and determination for certain kept her apart of our lives as long as possible. Trudy conquered many things throughout her life that made her the strong caring person she was. She would never miss welcoming any new friend who walked in to the Birchwood. You met Mom once, you were a friend for life and greeted with a big hug, smile and "Hi baby, how have you been? Sit down and join us!"

Trudy was blessed with 2 beautiful grand daughters and 2 adorable great grandsons, and they were all her pride and joy. She treasured Cairo's visits, his love and innocence made Mom forget all her pain and troubles. 

All of her friends were family and welcome anytime to join her wherever she may have been.

We would like to invite all of our friends, family and acquaintances to join us in celebrating Moms life journey Saturday , September 29th at 3:00 pm at the Birchwood Motor Hotel in Traverse Bay, Manitoba.

We would like to thank the Nursing team at Selkirk General Hospital for their absolutely amazing care for Mom and us as well. They definitely made this extremely difficult time more understandable and tolerable for all of us.
