William Bohonos

1932-2018

William Bohonos passed away at Betel Home Foundation in Gimli on March 20, 2018.

He leaves to mourn his passing his niece Connie (Tom) Phinney of Winnipeg, Valerie (Stephen) Newman Gisborne of New Zealand, Gayle (Robert) Marcel of Alberta and Delaine Yanishewski of Gimli; nephews Michael (Laura) Yanishewski, David Yanishewski of Gimli; great-nephews Steven (Ebony) Phinney, Jonathan (Karan) Phinney, Jeffrey (Jamie) Yanishewski, Mark (Kyla) Yanishewski, Scote (Laura) Newman; great niece Claire (Cody) Newman; great-great-nieces Teagan and River Bingley Phinney, Abigail Yanishewski; great-great-nephew IsaacYanishewski.

Uncle Bill farmed with his parents in the Dnister area. He enjoyed reading, fishing and hunting for deer and geese. What he enjoyed most was to get into the truck and go for a drive around the Interlake. His favorite place to go was Hecla Island.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli with Father Art Seaman presiding.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dnister Cemetery at Box 1541, Gimli, MB, R0C 1B0 or a charity of your choice.
