ADRIAN WILLIAM VERHEUL

April 16th, 1938 - October 16th, 2025

It is with great sadness and sorrow, we announce the passing of Adrian William Verheul. With his family by his side, our dear Adrian lost his long struggle with emphysema. Adrian leaves to mourn his son Greg (Darlene), grandson Kyle, sisters Betty Loveday and Kay Smith as well as many In-laws, nephews and nieces. Adrian was predeceased by his parents Anna and Arie Verheul, wife Louise, son Brent and pet Snoopy.

 Adrian lived in St. Clements his entire life. He worked at Manitoba Rolling Mills, Loveday Mushroom Farms, Petaski Farms, Chuckry Farms as well as many odd jobs, too many to mention. Adrian was a founding member of the East Selkirk Fire Department and served from 1968 to 1999.

 Adrian had a profound love of nature, always looking out the window at wildlife, especially the birds he made certain were fed. He enjoyed playing cribbage, the cards were always on the table for another game, as well as his passion of sharing knowledge and debating.

 He was known for his great smile, kindness, sense of humour, friendship and tenacity.

The family would like to thank all the special people who visited and helped Adrian, especially his loyal friend and neighbour Rodney Kozmenski.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday Oct 28, 2025 at 11:00am at St Stanislaus Catholic Church in East Selkirk.
