Allan Albert Sumner

On June 5, 2026 at the South East Personal Care home, Allan Sumner, aged 65 years passed away.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Oliveena; brothers Rupert, Colin, Stanley and Darryl; sisters Marina and Sarah. He is survived by his brother Lawrence; sisters Josephine (Isaac) Sinclair and Karen Sumner; friend Carol Winter; niece Becky (Don) as well as numerous other nephews, nieces and cousins.

Allan enjoyed going to church and listening to gospel music. His favorite song was Amazing Grace. Allan liked watching wrestling and car racing.

Wake Service will be held on Thursday, June 11, from 7-10 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals, Winnipeg, MB. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m. also at Eternal Grace Funerals with Julia Travers officiating. Crossbearer will be Josephine Sinclair. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Winnipeg. Pallbearers will be Curtis Shorting, Decklan Shorting, Lawrence Sumner, Brandon Sumner, Leland Moneyias and Isaac Sinclair.

The family would like to thank everyone that helped with prayers and that helped the family. We would also like to thank the Little Saskatchewan Chief and Council, Gilbart Funeral Home, and the South East Personal Care Home staff.
