In Loving Memory of Andre (Andy) Letourneau
Suddenly, on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at his residence in Winnipeg, MB, Andy Letourneau, aged 75 years passed away.
A devoted husband to Shelley, proud father to Shane (Cyndi) and Brandy (Troy), and loving grandfather to Alesha (Tiana) and Cody. He lived life with an open heart and an easy smile. He had a deep appreciation for every moment — always grateful, always present, and always ready for the next adventure.
He filled the world with laughter through his silly songs, spontaneous dances, and his gift for making everyone around him feel at home. He loved spending time with family, playing cards, and would try to skunk anyone in cribbage or pool with his playful competitive spirit. A master craftsman in his own right, he took great pride in his work in custom upholstery, creating beauty with skill and care.
He never left the house or a room without kissing Shelley and saying “I love you” — a daily reminder of the love that guided his life.
He was a beloved brother to Jesse (Micheline), Roger (Suzanne), Leander (Johanne), Yves (Nancy), Yvan (Marilyn), Denis (Monique), Diane (Robert), and Yolanda (Gary) and uncle to many cherished nieces and nephews. He was also a great friend and father figure to all, touching countless lives with his kindness, humor, and open heart.
He is preceded in death by his mother Annette and father.
Though he left us too soon and too suddenly, we know he’s zoom zooming toward his next great journey. He will be deeply missed, but his laughter, love, and adventurous spirit will live on in every heart he touched — especially in those of his wife, children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
“We’re here for a good time, not a long time." "Don’t worry, Be happy." "Just relax. It’s all G.”
Celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline St. Selkirk, MB.
