Andrea Jacobson Obituary

Andrea Jacobson

After a very short battle with cancer, Andrea passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on October 1st, 2021.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Betty, and her husband Lorne.

Leaving to mourn her, are her siblings Bob (Marguerite), Ron (Terry), Chris, and Liz (Randy); her daughters Cheri (Dino), Kristin (Louis), and her very special grandchildren Braden, Dominic, Brooke, and Cheri; she also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Andrea was born and raised in Selkirk. She started her career at Credit Union Central, and later, she moved on to work with the Government of Canada with unemployment insurance.

Andrea met Lorne in 1978, and they married in 1980. They started a family, and had two daughters, raising them in East Selkirk.

She enjoyed being with family, and friends the most. Especially her Grandkids, and her Grand Puppies. She retired from Red River Co-op in October 2019, and she enjoyed retirement to the fullest.
