Obituary

Andrew Adam Joseph Marks

June 26, 1948 - February 13, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Andy on February 13th, 2026 at the age of 77.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Margaret Marks, his brother Marvin and his sister Laura. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Linda; daughter Michelle (Lester); sons Neil and Cory; grandchildren Bryce, Rheanna, Norma-Jane, Aaron and Sarah and great-grandchildren Zyla and Ivan. Others that will miss him are brothers, James (Charlotte) and Ken (Marg); sisters Ruth (Richard) and Lisa (Andrew) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Andy was raised on the family farm in Camp Morton, MB. He worked many years for Redimix / City Mix until he retired. Andy loved his sports and spent some of his free time playing baseball, bowling and playing badminton. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and getting together with family and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held in the spring.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre that took such great care of him.

Those we love

Don't go away

They walk beside us everyday

Unseen, unheard

But always near

So loved, so missed

So very dear
