Anne Recksiedler (nee Tokaryk) passed away peacefully in her sleep, February 12, 2025 at Extended Care Red River Place in Selkirk at the age of 94. Anne is now at peace and at Home with her Heavenly Father.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters Stella, Ollie, and Rose as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Fred Recksiedler in 1986, parents Effie and Nicholas Tokaryk and her siblings Andy and Mary.
Anne was born and raised in Yellow Creek, Saskatchewan. She left the farm and moved to Winnipeg with her sister Mary. She met Fred and they married in 1957. Together they worked at a camp in Manigotagan. After a few years they moved to Grand Marais which was home for 47 years. More recently Anne resided in Selkirk.
Anne was very strong in her faith and loved to serve the Lord. She was involved with the Wayside Gospel Chapel for many years.

We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Red River Place for their kindness, compassion and care of Anne over the last 10 years.
