Barry Todd Bruce aged 60 years, of Matheson Island, MB, passed away on July 4, 2026.

Barry was born in Selkirk on March 18, 1966.

He is survived by his mother Millie; siblings Dennis (Wanda) and Kathy (Ronnie); nieces and nephew Crystal, Jesse (Alexa), Teresa and Chelsey; grand nieces and nephews Racheal, Marie, Logan, Olivia and Jesse. He was predeceased by his father Martin.

After graduation he went to Flin Flon staying with his brother and working for HBM and S in the smelter. After 5 years he moved out west to Nanaimo, then moved to Kincardine, Ontario and finally back to the island where he worked on the cable ferry for a number of years. Barry loved his music and had a green thumb.

Barry was cremated and a small family gathering will take place and he will be buried with his father at Matheson Island.
