Ms Beryl Ann Prince, 68 years old passed away peacefully on Feb 6, 2026, in St Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Beryl was predeceased by her father, Sgt. Tommy Prince, her mother Verna Sinclair, her brothers Karl, Kendrick , her sisters Joyce and Kim.
She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters, Tommy (Abby) Prince, Beverly Prince, Karen Braun-Prince, and Stuart Prince, as well as her many nephews and nieces.
Beryl, in her youth enjoyed running around Brokenhead Ojibway Nation catching frogs and tadpoles in the river nearby her home on the reserve, then known as Scanterbury. She spent many hours with her brothers and sisters playing in the woods and being part of a large family.
Beryl, along with her siblings, were part of the ‘60s Scoop, and spent the rest of her youth in and out of the foster care system. Hers was a life of troubles and hardships, which followed her into adulthood.
It was her dream to reunite with her family as she became older. Beryl spent many hours searching for her father, Sgt Tommy Prince, as she become aware that he too resided somewhere in Winnipeg. Their reunion would be short and bitter sweet before her dad passed away. One of her most fondest memories of him was that he taught her how to shoot pool.
Beryl eventually found her birth mom, and happily reunited with some of her siblings at that time. Life was never an easy one for Beryl, she endured many struggles and complications with her health and consequently living in Parkview Place Care Center in WInnipeg , Manitoba.
She was currently living in Extendicare Beacon Hill Lodge Long Term Care facility, in Winnipeg, where she received excellent care from the nursing staff and her other caregivers daily.
No formal service will be held, the family asks that you remember Beryl when you step outside and feel the sunshine on your head, and the breeze on your face, or hear the croaking of frogs. She loved the outdoors.

Beryl will be laid to rest beside her sisters Joyce, Kim, and her beloved mama, Verna. She has finally made it home to safety and her family.
