Beverley Purvis ( Dick, Jefferson)

April 27, 1936 - June 21, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother grandmother, great-grandmother on June 21, 2026 at Tudor House at the age of 90. Mom was predeceased by her husband Bill (2015) and granddaughter Nicole (2013).

Left to cherish her memory are her children Billy (Christine), Robin, Colleen, Darren (Tyler); grandchildren Gordie, Michelle (Tyler), Kayla (Buddy), Brandi Lee, Wyatt, Shane, Payton, and Jason. Mom had 13 great-grandchildren.

Mom was born and raised in Selkirk and had a very fulfilled life with raising 4 children while dad worked up in the arctic for many years. Mom was very active in the choir at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for numerous years. Mom worked at MTS, the old hospital pharmacy, and then in home care until her retirement. She was the rock of the family with her children and grandchildren and will be lovingly missed by all who knew her.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Marine Museum of Manitoba.
