BEVERLY JANE JANIS (nee Keller)

With great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who passed away on April 24, 2025 at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 85 years. Beverly will be greatly missed by her children: Curtis (Connie) Janis, Twyla (Peter) Kenyon, Kim (Al) Zaik and Melanie Janis; her grandchildren Krystal (Steven) Wilkinson, Kyle (Liz) Kenyon, Lyle (Audrey) Janis, Brett Janis, Haley and Travis Zaik and by five great-grandchildren Colton, Zoey, Nora, Ryatt and Tavin. She is also survived by her sister Gladys and many nieces, nephews and good friends. She was predeceased by husband Norman Janis and parents John and Catherine Keller.

Our mom was a true angel on earth and now in heaven. Family meant everything to her. She was a strong individual, kind, compassionate, loving and empathetic. Mom always showed her love through amazing cooking and baking for family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, camping, traveling and was very artistic. She had a knack for keeping the family connected. She was loved by all those who knew her and she is already deeply missed.

The family wishes to thank the amazing staff at the Irene Baron Eden Center for making Mom’s dementia journey the best that it could be.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
