Blair Richard Colles

With heavy hearts the family of Blair Colles announce his passing. Born on January 31, 1988 in Selkirk, Manitoba and has now gained his wings.

Blair is survived by his loving daughters Sequoia Mayo (Kaiden Morris-Izzard) and Zyrah Mayo; mother Shelly Wright (step-dad Tim Wright); sister Brooke Colles; step-mom Lise Colles; step-sisters Kristy Donald (Richard Warren), Ashley Donald and step-nephew Cody Donald; lifetime friend and mother of his children Melissa Mayo; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Predeceased by his father Richard Colles; uncles Nick Colles and Bill Colles; cousins Wesley McRae and Cody Colles; grandparents Joe and Dagny Lenchuk, Henry and Wilma Colles.

Blair grew up in St. Andrews area and attended Clandeboye School, Lockport Junior High and Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive High School.

Blair was an active child and had a love of the outdoors. He loved to build forts in the backyard or in the bushes. He loved fishing, snowmobiling and riding his dirt bike.

Blair had a love of music, the louder the better.

Blair loved art. He drew and sketched many pictures. He loved to show off his tattoos, many of which he gave to himself, family and friends.

Blair’s greatest love and pride were his girls Sequoia and Zyrah. He would brag how beautiful they were.

We are sincerely grateful to family and friends that have shown us love and support in assisting with the search for Blair. In keeping with Blair’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline St. Selkirk, MB. If you are able, please wear red as this was Blair’s favourite colour.
