Obituary

Brad Nickoshie

On October 8th 2025 at Pine Falls hospital with Lori by his side Bradley passed away peacefully.

In his teenage years he was one of the best hockey players in his age division. His love for the game never withered. He was always playing sports and was also a great football player, golfer and in recent years an avid canoer. He spent most of his life as a millwright working across Canada and he also worked as his dad’s assistant as a diamond driller.

In his free time he loved to get lost in the bush, hangout with friends and family, golfing, canoeing, and was also quite skilled with a dremel. He practiced his ancestral culture through various sweats and ceremonies most notably the Sun Dance ceremony.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him especially by his son Kyle PK, his wife Lori and his girls. A special thanks to his brother Monty for moving from North Bay to take care of him his last weeks here with us. Brad leaves to mourn him his son Kyle PK, wife Lori, his siblings Cathy (Barry), Bunny, Monty, Darren (Crystal), his stepson Ryan (Ellana), grandchildren Sofiya, Annika, Chloe and Pablo. He will be missed by his nieces Stephanie, Erica (Gerald), Danielle, Brandi and Keesha, nephews Keith, Brett, Brandon, Bryan and Peyton. He’ll also be missed by his dog Chance
