BRIAN HARVEY SEAMAN

February 28, 1949 – June 30, 2019

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Brian Harvey Seaman on June 30, 2019.  Brian was predeceased by his parents Michael and Nettie and his brother Edward (Ed).

Left to honour and remember him are his son Brian River Seaman, nephews Chris, Shawn (Connie), great nephews Mike and Tristan. Friend Ken from the block, family and friends.

Brian enjoyed talking on the phone every day with his son, he enjoyed attending his son’s football games, basketball games and together they took in a few Blue Bomber games. He was very proud of his son’s pre-grad certificates that he earned during high school and attended his son’s Dakota Collegiate graduating class of 2018 convocation on June 25, 2018 and grad supper on June 26, 2018.

Brian was employed for many years at Versatile in Winnipeg. He reminisced about driving his motorcycle during the “good old days” with a smile and laugh. Brian often spoke of his mom, dad, brother and many close and distant family members and friends, he cherished and never forgot the memories he had growing up. Brian was a gentle caring person in his own way.

The family would like to thank the attending Winnipeg Police and Paramedics for their compassion.  Jean Watkins and family and Allen Hocaluk for guidance through this difficult time.

Viewing will take place Tuesday July 9, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB. Anyone is welcome to share their memories they have of Brian. Cremation to follow per his wishes.
