CAROL ANN PRETTIE (nee Krut)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Prettie, who passed on June 25 at the age of 78 after a short battle with cancer.
Carol was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a proud grandmother, and a beloved sister and friend. She leaves behind her loving husband, Oliver, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.
She will be missed by her two children, Tracy and John, who carry forward her strength, grace, and kindness. Her grandchildren Makenna, Tyson, Tanner, Nicole and Madison were her joy, and she cherished every moment with them.
Carol is also survived by her siblings, Andy, Maureen, Laurie, and Jackie who shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love.
She had a gift for making others feel seen, heard, and loved. Her wisdom was quiet but constant, her hands always busy with acts of care - a warm meal, a comforting touch, a handwritten note.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory can be made to Cancer Care Manitoba.
A private service will be held with close family.
