Carolyn (Vicki) Kennedy

Carolyn Victoria Kennedy “Vicki” was born on August 21, 1940. She passed away on December 14, 2025 at the age of 85, peacefully with family by her side. She is predeceased by her parents Paul and Stephanie Jacobsen, her sisters Jackie (Clarke) and Judy (Brett), as well as her first husband Ted Boyd. She leaves behind her brother-in-law Jim Brett, as well as her nieces and nephews Carolyn Brett (David Pickering), Liz Carson (Peter Carson) and James Brett.

Vicki was such a kind person and was extremely active for most of her life. She was a competitive swimmer with the Masters and took part in numerous charity walks over the years. She loved being outdoors and walking in her back forest. She was an animal lover and cherished many lucky dogs and cats over her lifetime.

Vicki had numerous jobs over the years, but worked the longest for Inco up in Thompson, Manitoba. It was there that she met her second husband Jim Kennedy, whom she later divorced.

Vicki faithfully remembered everyone’s birthdays and sent cards out at Christmas as well; always with a little note about her latest adventure.

The family would like to thank the many nurses and support workers on the Poplar Ward at The Tudor. Also, a special thank you to her companion and friend, Linda (Kevin) Romphf for her dedication and limitless kindness she showed to Vicki over the last five years.

Rest in peace my beloved Aunt. You will be missed deeply.
