Colleen worked many years as a health care aid. Even after her health prevented her from working, she never left that caring nature behind. She always thought of others before herself. One of Colleen’s greatest joys was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was larger than life and always made friends wherever she went. Colleen built great memories traveling to Mexico with her husband and camping with her family. She had countless enjoyable years with her friends and family at Netley Creek.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Cancer Care Manitoba, Seven Oaks Hospital staff and Darwin and staff at Super Thrifty Pharmacy, for going above and beyond for Colleen.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 1160-675 McDermot Ave Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
Ti Amo, Mom
