Daniel “Dan” Wesley Stice

November 16, 1960 – November 13, 2023

Dan Wesley Stice, 62, of Gimli, MB, passed away on November 13, 2023 at the Gimli Community Health Centre. He was surrounded by his beloved spouse, Cathy, his sons and their partners, and a close friend.

Dan was born in Regina, SK on November 16, 1960 to the late Dietland (nee Bauer) and Ralph Stice. He is survived by his spouse, Catherine Nault, and his sons, Kael Stice, and Devon Milville (Brittany), grandchildren Myla and Wyatt, and brothers Rod, Vern, and Chuck Stice.

Dan joined the RCMP on November 8, 1985. He served in Manitoba in various postings throughout Manitoba and retired on May 2, 2013 at the rank of Corporal. 

Dan loved a wide range of music, as long as it was loud.  He also enjoyed being active and outdoors fishing and hunting. He found a little piece of heaven in his retirement home in Gimli with Cathy where they spent time gardening and golfing. 

Dan – we miss your wit, your laugh, your smile, and humor. We are sure Boomer was happy to be reunited with you.

A memorial service for family and friends is being planned for December 8 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline St. Selkirk, MB. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed via the following link https://youtube.com/live/Am8m7Ff9BDU
