Darryl Dean Sumner

On Friday, May 13, 2022 at his residence in Winnipeg, Mb, Darryl Sumner, aged 55 years passed away.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Oliveena; brothers Rupert and Stanley, and sisters Sarah and Marina. He is survived by his brothers Colin (Carol), Allan, and Lawrence; sisters Karen Sumner and Josephine (Isaac) Sinclair; niece Becky (Don) Hart whom he grew up with, as well as numerous other nephews and nieces.

Darryl liked fixing bikes, radios, and stereos. He enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together again.

Wake Service will be held on Thursday, May 19 from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. in the Little Saskatchewan School Gym. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 21 at 1:00 p.m. also in the gym with interment to follow.

The family would like to thank everyone that helped with prayers and that helped the family. We would also like to thank the Little Saskatchewan Chief and Council, Gilbart Funeral Home, the hospital and group home staff.
