Dave Enns

Peacefully at home, Dave Enns, passed on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at the age of 76.

Born on December 19, 1948 in Winkler, MB to George W. and Agnes Enns.

Dave worked for the Home Care Program for many years, but his true passion was being a truck driver. He was very proud of achieving his goal of achieving a million miles and more.

Left to mourn are his wife and best friend of 24 years ,Ray; daughter Vanessa (Derrick); son Jamie (Tammy); step-sons Shaun (Amy) and Jamie; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; siblings Don (Kathy), Norma (John), Merle (Vic) and Wayne (Elaine); 12 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George and Agnes; brother Johnny and sister Judy (Dan).

Dave loved his country living, riding and training horses and riding his motorcycle. He also loved to socialize with family, friends and neighbours.

Special thanks to family and friends for all their care, support and time in aiding in his many projects.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB.

Planting yellow flowers will forever hold a place in our hearts as they did in Dave’s. So this spring in memory of Dave, when picking out your flowers, plant a yellow one in Dave’s honor.
