Denise Treble (Herdis Gudlaug Melsted)

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Denise Treble on March 16, 2024.

Denise was predeceased by parents Laugi and Lena Melsted, husband John and sons Larry and Jim, brothers Oli and Axel Melsted, sister Kristine Dunning, and son-in-law Ron Potter.

She leaves to mourn her passing daughter Val, grandchildren Lance (Violeta), Jodie (Phil), Jen (Aaron), Rebecca, Tim (Nicole); siblings Runa, Laugi (Betty), Albina (Doug), Hjalti (Julie), Arnie (Lorraine), and Fjola, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

Mom was a beautiful person inside and out who enjoyed the simple things in life. Nothing compared to her love of family and mom left this earth surrounded by those that she loved and who loved her. Cremation has taken place and a private service will take place in the summer.

Special thanks to all the caring staff at Selkirk Betel Nursing Home for the care given to mom over the years.

Mamma you were an amazing person, a strong spirit and a loving soul.
