Dewey Jesse Harrison
December 20, 1933 – November 26, 2025
Peacefully surrounded by his family, Dewey passed away at Selkirk Regional Health Centre at age 91.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, his children: Jeanette, Vernon (Tamara), Sammy, Teresa, Tricia (Adam) and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was a proud gardener and enjoyed time in the garden sharing his life experiences with his children, grandchildren, customers and friends from far and wide.
He was baptized as a Jehovah Witness and dedicated his life to serving Jehovah and attending many meetings and conventions.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk with Richard Downing Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to areas which impacted Dewey such as Fibromyalgia Association Canada, Anxiety Disorders Association of Manitoba or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
