DONNA FITKOWSKI (nee CHANAS)

August 27, 1952 - October 31, 2025

Surrounded by her family, Donna Fitkowski passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Donna will be greatly missed by her daughter Rhonda Fitkowski, son Rodney Fitkowski (Linda), grandchildren Coral Kondracki (Jordan), Brayden Fitkowski (Shay-Lynn) and her great grandchildren, who brought her much joy, Jace and Casey. She also leaves her sisters Sandra Gushta, Kris Chanas, Barb Chanas and Leanne Pippo, along with many nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by her spouse Terry Palmer, parents Michael and Stella Chanas and brother Lloyd Chanas.

Donna was raised in Libau, Manitoba and lived there for many years before making the move into Selkirk. She always looked forward to the summer camping trips, especially those with her grandchildren. She also took great pride in her perogy, perishky and borscht making skills and generously shared her knowledge with family and friends. Donna also loved any type of family gathering and will always hold a special place when the family gathers for a celebration.

A service will be held at Gilbart's Funeral Home, 309 Eveline Street, Selkirk, MB on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at the St. Clement's Cemetery.
