Edna Robertson (nee MacLean)

December 18, 1927 – October 21, 2025

Edna was born in Reading, England to Donald Farquhar MacLean and Ivy (Jacobs) MacLean.

Edna is predeceased by her husband, Dr. Ralph Ogilvie Robertson, her parents, her sister Jessie Carpenter (Reginald) and brothers Donald (Joan) and Ian (Mary) of Reading, England.

She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Susan Robertson (Percy Woytiuk) and son Ian Maclean Robertson (Pamela) and her grandchildren Jennifer Ethans (Kevin Land and great­ grandchildren Willow and Autumn), Jordan Ethans (Gillian and great-grandchildren Hudson and Ava), Maclean Robertson, Victoria Robertson and Tabitha Swain (Tyler).

Edna and Ralph were married in Reading, England in 1959 then lived a year in Manchester, England followed by a year in Scotland.

They moved back to Canada in 1961, first living in Winnipeg then moving to Selkirk and settling in St. Andrews where they raised their family.

Edna was an active member of Knox Presbyterian in Selkirk and a member and President of The University Women's Club in Winnipeg.

In 2011 they left their home on River Road and moved to Mapleton Lane, St. Andrews where they made some wonderful caring friends.

A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Selkirk Regional Health Centre and to all of the staff at Betel Home, Selkirk.

A private funeral service was held.
