Elizabeth Beth Harrison (Dutka) August 28, 1944 – May 20, 2026

Elizabeth Beth Harrison (Dutka) passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Beloved
wife of the late Dewey Harrison, left to cherish her memory are her children Jeanette, Vernon
(Tamara), Sammy, Teresa, Tricia (Adam) and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and
nieces and nephews.
Betty, as she liked to be called, loved her family. There were many happy times and many
struggles being a farmers’ wife, a mother, and what she liked to call being a Domestic Engineer.
Alongside her husband Dewey, she worked many years of farming, raising livestock, chickens,
gardening and being the best mother she knew how to be.
Betty was a dedicated Jehovah Witness. She read her bible and magazines daily when she
could.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026,
11:00 a.m. at Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, the service will be livestreamed via the link https://youtube.com/live/MQaPjPR0x_I
